We were patients first.
We've all done it: a sudden tooth pain, the WhatsApp scramble through three cousins, a clinic with no published prices, a quote at the chairside that didn't match the invoice. The dental experience in Ghana has been held together by goodwill and group chats.
Across 3 cities here and a half-dozen more in our adjacent markets, the answer kept being the same: verified clinics, transparent prices, records that follow the patient. Boring fundamentals. Done well.
That's what DentaCue is. The patient app is free. Clinics pay a flat subscription — no cuts of treatment cost, no per-booking fees. The incentive only points one way: more verified clinics, more transparent prices, fewer surprises.
What we won't bend.
- 01Verify by hand
Self-attestation does not protect patients. Every clinic on DentaCue clears the same bar — documents, register cross-check, on-site visit, annual re-verification.
- 02Publish every price
Patients deserve a clean answer to "how much will this cost?". Clinics that won't publish their fee schedule don't get to be on DentaCue.
- 03Records belong to patients
Records are exportable, portable, and audit-logged. We work for the patient first, even when we're selling to the clinic.
- 04Local rails, plain prose
Paystack and Flutterwave. MTN and Vodafone MoMo. WhatsApp first. Pidgin and Twi where they read fastest. We meet the market where it is.
- 05No revenue cuts
We earn from clinic subscriptions. Never from a patient's payment, never as a percentage of a treatment cost. The incentive only points one way.

Postgres, Next.js, Stripe-clone rails. Where we get aggressive is in compliance, transparency reports, and the policies that protect patients.
